What's it like to help someone fight against predatory lenders?

It’s a great feeling to help somebody who’s been a victim of a predatory loan. To be able to make that phone call and call the client and let them know that the foreclosure sale has been postponed, that they don’t have to pack up their bags. It’s a great feeling to talk to people who you’ve just helped save their most precious asset. They’ve got kids in school and they don’t want to move, and there is no reason for it. Things can be worked out to get people back on track to be able to make a payment where they can afford to stay in the home and the lender’s not going to lose any more money. So, it really is a good feeling and it’s one that we hope to keep duplicating. My name’s Damion Nassiri. I’m a partner in the law firm Howard Nassiri.
