What is anesthesia negligence?

When somebody undergoes surgery, as we know in many instances, their whole breathing system is put in the hands of an anesthesiologist who has to monitor it very carefully. If that isn't done, if the patient starts exhibiting signs of failure of blood pressure, failure of systems, they can be brought back very promptly but if the anesthesiologist is not paying attention, is not alert enough, that can be devastating. I have a case right now involving an airway that wasn't properly managed during the course of anesthesia. Why does anesthesia negligence occur?

The cause of anesthesia uh, negligence are failure to properly monitor a patient during the course of surgery. It’s failure to maintain an airway, one of the basic elements of anesthesiology is to establish and maintain a patent airway. Who do I sue after anesthesia negligence?

Often when there’s anesthesia malpractice in New York, the anesthesiologist is the prime party that is sued. Is anesthesia negligence common in New York?

There used to be many more losses involving anesthesia malpractice. It seems like there are fewer and fewer, and I’m happy to see and know that. There are still instances of failure to properly monitor during the course of the surgery. There are other instances where anesthesiologists venture into the realm of pain management. What problems can anesthesia negligence lead to?

From what I see is in negligence, the most serious injury is a lack of oxygen to the brain. Just like with the cerebral palsy case, which is a function of lack of oxygen to the brain, brain damage is just about the most serious injury anybody can suffer. How common are Trasylol cases in the US?
